9 Months Old!!!

Connor is 9 months old now...it is crazy how fast time flies. It feels like not too long ago we were preparing for his arrival and now Connor has taken over the house! He is crawling all over the place, standing up using his toys, the couch, mommy and daddys legs, the wall - pretty much anything that is stable enough to support his weight. He LOVES to walk. All he wants to do is stand up and walk around. He pushes his walking toy all over the house and smiles and laughs non stop while he is doing it. It is one of the most special things to watch because you can see how happy and proud of himself he is. He is going from toy to toy, from his toys to the couch and back and can stand up by himself for several seconds before he gets wobbly and falls to the floor. Daddy has been working with him and he is trying to take steps by himself but his balance just isn't quite there...it doesn't look like it will be much longer though. We haved moved his crib down to the lowest position because he stands up in his crib and wraps his hands all the way around the top and tries to use it as leverage to lift himself out. Mommy just couldn't sleep because she thought he would figure out to topple himself right over the side of his crib. He is such a happy boy all the time and is just a joy to be around. It is amazing how much fun we have talking, laughing and playing as a family.
