Summer Vacation!!
Connor had a big week last week with a lot of firsts to share. We packed up and headed North for our Summer Vacation, and for the first time with Connor, we decided to fly! Connor went on his very first airplane! He did great! He really didn't get fussy or cry, which Mommy was really nervous about, but flying at 10 months is hard work. The last thing Connor wanted to do was sit on Mommy and Daddy's lap for 3 hours when he could be crawling, walking, or climbing into everything. So needless to say, Mommy and Daddy were exhausted from the plane ride. Then Connor met his friend Shelby for the very first time! Shelby is a month older, so she is much older and wiser than Connor! I think he took some good notes though. We went out on the lake with Ms Robin, Mr Andy and Shelby. Shelby and Connor DID NOT like their life jackets an
d screamed the entire time. Once we parked the boat, Connor was loving life as he took his first swim in the Lake. Shelby on the other hand, wanted nothing to do with the water but was loving life playing in the sand on the beach. We spent a couple of days with Grandma and Grandpa Greb in Ludington and Connor walked all over the house, played in his pool, took walks through the neighborhood with Grandma and went out on the boat and played in the lake several times. One of his favorite things was Grandma's Tupperware drawer! Connor got to enjoy a whole day with Grandma and Grandpa while Mommy and Daddy went and played golf and went into town. After we left Ludington we headed to East Lansing and Connor got his first tour of Michigan State, where Da
ddy showed him the dorms, the football stadium, Sparty and the bars...all the highlights of course! We stayed the night with Ms Brandi and Mr TJ and Connor's soon to be friend, Baby Carter! We had a great time, including a late night run to Culver's for some ice cream! Our last leg of the trip was spent in Detroit, where we visited with Mr Bryan and Ms Anne Marie and got to see their brand new house! We had a great time BBQing and Connor loved crawling all over their house. His favorite though, was the step up from their living room into the Kitchen. Which, he mastered in about 5 minutes. That was his first step, which has led into full blown stair climbing! Look Out! Our final day was spent hanging and out relaxing with Aunt Nancy, Uncle Joe, Great Grandma and Cousins Kaylynn and Kelli Jo! Connor had fun crawling and walking around and getting all the attention from soo many people. To end it off, we hopped on the plane and headed back to Alabama to show off all his new tricks back at home. We had a great Summer Vacation and had such a wonderful time spending the week with our family and friends!

so glad ya'll had a great trip. He is sooo cute in the pics...i love the one of him in the grass!
